I almost didn't check my own Search Console this month. Been busy. Then I ran one prompt and found four keywords I'm already ranking for on page two — meaning Google already trusts the page, I just never bothered to finish the job.
That's the whole idea behind this post. Four prompts. One free tool you already have. Twenty minutes, tops.

Last week I gave you the GBP Prompt Stack — five prompts that fix your map pack listing. That's half the picture. Your website is the other half, and most GTA agents have never once opened the one tool that tells you exactly what's broken on it.
Google Search Console. It's free. It's already connected to your site. And it's sitting there with months of data nobody's looked at.
Prompt 1: find the keywords you're one edit away from ranking for
Here's the thing nobody tells you: a keyword sitting in position 12 is not the same problem as a keyword you don't rank for at all. Google already likes the page enough to show it on page two. You're not starting from zero — you're one title tag away from the top three.
Paste this in:
"Here is my Google Search Console data for the last 90 days: [paste or attach the export]. Find every query where my site ranks between position 11 and 20 with at least 10 monthly impressions. For each one: which page is ranking, is the keyword in the title tag and first paragraph, how long is the page, does it have internal links pointing to it. Then write me the actual new title tag, meta description, and opening paragraph for my top 5 opportunities. Don't tell me what to fix — write the copy."
Run this quarterly. I ran it Tuesday. Found four keywords. Fixed two pages in twenty minutes.
Prompt 2: steal the map of what your competitors cover and you don't
You don't need Semrush for this one, but it helps. If you've got it — or Ahrefs, or Ubersuggest — this prompt does in five minutes what used to take an afternoon:
"Using [tool name]'s keyword gap report, compare my site against [competitor 1], [competitor 2], [competitor 3]. Show me keywords where at least two of them rank in the top 20 and I don't rank at all — filtered to search volume between 50 and 1,500, containing a GTA neighbourhood name, 'near me', or a term like 'power of sale' or 'first-time buyer'. Top 15, and tell me whether I should fix an existing page or build a new one."
No paid tool? Don't skip this one — just run the free version instead:
"Read these three competing agents' websites: [URL 1], [URL 2], [URL 3]. List every service, neighbourhood, and topic each one has a dedicated page for. Compare that against my site at [your URL] and tell me what they cover that I don't."
Either way, you'll see the gap in under ten minutes. What you do with it is the actual work.
Prompt 3: build the page that doesn't exist yet
Here's a mistake I see constantly: one generic "Buyer Representation" page trying to compete with an agent who built five neighbourhood-specific ones. Google ranks pages, not websites. If you don't have a page about first-time buyers in Mimico, you will not show up for that search — doesn't matter how many deals you've closed there.
"I serve [neighbourhood 1], [neighbourhood 2], [neighbourhood 3], and my core services are [list them]. Check my site at [URL] — which service-plus-neighbourhood pages exist, which are missing? For each missing one, write: SEO title under 60 characters, meta description under 155, an H1, a 100-word opener on why someone in that neighbourhood needs this now, a 150-word local section naming real streets or landmarks, a 3-question FAQ, and a CTA with my number."
Build two or three a month. Ten built in one weekend reads as filler. A steady drip reads as an agent who actually knows the ground.
The Website Prompt Stack
# | Prompt | Fixes | Run it |
|---|---|---|---|
1 | Page-2 rescue | Near-miss keywords, one edit away | Quarterly |
2 | Keyword gap (tool or free) | What competitors have that you don't | Quarterly |
3 | Neighbourhood page builder | Missing location-specific pages | 2–3/month |
Three prompts. Not twenty. Run these before you touch another dollar on a paid tool.
FAQ
Do I need Search Console set up first? Yes, and it's ten minutes to verify. That's step zero, before any prompt above works.
Is it safe to paste GSC data into ChatGPT or Claude? Yes — it's search query data, not client information. Different rules apply once you're touching client details; the AI compliance guide for Ontario REALTORS® covers that line.
What if I only serve one or two neighbourhoods? Then go deep, not wide. Two neighbourhoods with three pages each beats five neighbourhoods with one thin page apiece, every time.
Does this replace schema markup? No — it sits on top of it. Schema markup for Toronto realtors is the layer underneath.
Why does this work better than just asking AI to "fix my SEO"? Because that's the exact mistake most agents make. Stop asking AI for generic SEO is the fifteen-minute fix before any of this.
Run one prompt this week. Just one. The page-2 rescue takes twenty minutes and usually pays for itself before you've finished your coffee.
